About Me

Hi, I'm Kate.
This is where you can read about who I am, and why...

First off, I am a Christian...I accepted Jesus into my heart at age seven, and was baptized a year later. Christ has done amazing things since then!
I am from a family of 14, twelve siblings, and two amazing parents. My siblings ages range from 20 to infant.
When I was little, Dad & Mom decided to homeschool us. So all my school years have been at home, and I don't think I've ever wished otherwise. Mom is the best of teachers, and has helped me through so many things that seemed impossible (like carrying over, and dividing ;).  I'm so thankful for all my parents do to invest in my life.

As for me, I love kids, babies, animals, and being with the people I love. My current "occupation" is babysitting, and I really enjoy it.
I really enjoy photography, and trying to learn everything about it I can from home. I hope to (after graduation) continue on with studying to be a professional photographer. It's so amazing to me, to go through pictures, and remember all those times, and memories...and I want to be able to capture those moments-that are gone so quickly...so people can remember them for a life-time.

I am a fond owner of a Spring spaniel puppy, Maggie Mae. The story behind how I got her is amazing. I had been praying for my very own puppy for about 7 or so years, and saving up money. Dad, Mom, and I had the puppy discussion lots of times, but we always concluded that we had so many responsibilities already and I wasn't able to afford a puppy financially. I had kind of given up on ever getting a dog, but God hadn't. One Saturday afternoon Mom came home with two puppies. Well, turns out they weren't the right breed for us...so Dad asked us to wait. I can say us kids waited very patiently, but wait we did. I started surfing the web for a breed that would fit well with our family size and also housing situation. After reading hard and long on Springers, we decided to go with that breed. About a month later, we brought home a spunky, energetic, and playful little pup, to all of our delight :). I am looking forward to taking her to obedience school and learning how to have an obedient and non-biting puppy! :)

That's the story of my life,
