hey internet people, I'm back for a quick update on life.
It's been a busy few weeks...but things are finally falling back in to a relaxed routine. It's been lovely.
And speaking of lovely....the weather here in Indiana has been so nice! I was outside until wee hours of the morning last night (or morning?!) and I only needed a light jacket. It was perfect.
Spring, I've missed you!!
So this week, I've been on spring break...so no preschool. But I've been working with one of my clients whom I love dearly. We have so much fun together! :)
A couple weeks ago Danielle and I went and saw the totally magical Cinderella together. It was so well done. I'm not usually a fan of unrealistic romance / fairytale / barbie&ken kind of movies...but this one was different for me. It was a classic. I'll warn you though, if you haven't seen it, after you watch it, you'll want a perfectly flouncy, swishy, swirly blue dress just like Ella (and possibly a prince charming with ahhhhhmazing blue eyes 😊).

In other recent news, I was in my first car accident last week. it was such an unreal and terrifying experience. I was so proud of myself for holding it together while I gathered information and talked with insurance...but then I lost it. I sobbed hysterically for probably an hour. full out ugly cry, and I couldn't stop. I'm so grateful for my Mom&Dad, grandparents, and sisters who patiently, lovingly, and kindly helped me through it all. And I'm thankful for God's goodness to me through it all as well. It could've been a lot worse!
After my accident, I came home to all the kids having a dress-up dance party. complete with twinkly lights and backdrops. It was so fun to help them get all dressed up, hair and make-up done..and if I do say so myself, quite beautiful/handsome every one of them :).

"P is for Pirate" craft we made at preschool.
adorable, no?
well, that's all the pictures I have for now. On a side note...God's really been challenging me a lot lately on my attitude when I work. I love working. I love taking care of the kids, helping kids with their physical tharapy, feeding them countless bowls of oatmeal (pictured above), giving baths, doing laundry, etc. But my attitude isn't like Colossians 3:23 whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men. If I'm honest, I'm not putting my whole heart into it, and for God's glory. I'm doing it for mine. So I've been really trying to be aware of my heart attitude when I'm working, whether at work or home. Also, another verse that has been encouraging me as I do what seems like mundane and thankless work: The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.' Matthew 25:40. What encouragement!!
Well that's all there is for now. Until next time!
Philippians 4:8,
Kate Lynn
