God is Faithful...

Well well, look who's blogging! :)

I hope you all have had a lovely summer. I certainly have! God has been so good to my family and I. It's been amazing to see His great love and provision for us.
One of my summer highlights was:
Finding out I was going to be a big sister yet again!
My Mom is expecting baby #14! :)
She is due late February/early March.
Can anyone say excited?! God is amazing!

Look who's grown

Remember my last post? I told you all that I got a new little puppy, right?
Well that little puppy isn't so little any more :).
Check it out!

This is little 10 pound Maggie at 2 months.

This is 20 pound Maggie at four months.
She's getting so big, and I'm super excited to see her in another 2 months! I'm not sure if she'll have doubled her size again, but she'll definitely be larger. We're expecting her to be around 50 lbs. by the time she's finished growing.

So far Maggie has:
-Gone Camping with the family and church
-Learned how to swim
-Lost at least 8 teeth
-Learned sit, down, shake, and wait
-Gone on a family vacation to the UP
-Doubled in size
-Gone through obedience training (not finished though!)
-Gone to the vet twice and gotten multiple shots
-Annd officially stolen her owner's heart :).

She's definitely the most challenging dog my family and I have ever owned, but also the most intelligent. She is doing really well with training and we're all looking forward to seeing the results.
I'm sure I'll be back with more pictures as she grows, I can't help but post about her..she's so a.b.s.o.l.u.t.e.l.y. cute :).
So, see you around!

2011 in reveiw

Over the past few years I've seen lots of bloggers do a previous year recap of some sort or another, and I've always thought I'd like to try it. So, here I am...

The biggest happy change for our family this year was the addition of another little girl. In June we welcomed Miss Faith Caroline to our ever growing family. She sits in my lap as I type, and what a bundle of giggles and squeals she is.

Our annual spring church camp out at Turkey Run...

Another monumental event this year was Hannah's first time skydiving.
Who is next, I wonder???

Our second trip to the bright and sunny Alabama to visit our Aunt and Uncle.

Riding horses at a real southern horse ranch...

in AL

Needless to say, we had a very enjoyable time. Then on the way home...

Betty and Denny took us to a indoor water park.
Isaiah, Mary, and Emily in the wave pool.
Thank you so much "Aunt" Betty!

Yet another first this year...my oldest sister Kelsey purchased her first car.
A 2000 VW Bug, which we all love riding in! :)

Celebrating my Grandparents 50th anniversary this Summer.
Congratulations Bubba and Grammy!

Teaching CI with Kelsy this August at the ATI Indy conference. It was a great learning experience for both the teachers and children ;)

Kelsey, Emily, and I.
One change in 2011 was Emily's sudden growth spurt, leaving her less then an inch shorter then me. I now have a urge to get taller, and fast! :P

In 2011 I turned 17...

and on my 17th birthday-I got my ears pierced.
It was suprisingly pain-free, and I am looking forward to taking out my "trainer" earrings  next week.

Emily through Isaiah played in Kelsey's Christmas recital in December. And out of the 50+ students playing, I think they did the best. But then I'm a little biased aren't I? :)

That about wraps up 2011 in pictures.
Well, most of 2011 anyway :).
Happy two thousand twelve everyone!

|| It's winter

It's official.

And Christmas is in only three days away.

Around here everyone is scurrying from here to there, sewing, shopping, wrapping, blaring Christmas music, and trying to keep all their gifts secret. While reading through Luke, I'm reminded of God's amazing love for us, by sending His Son to save us. I definitely think it is indeed the most wonderful time of year! :)

Wishing you a very very merry Christmas!

Alabama .part one.

August 25th, my family and I started out in our white 15 passenger van on a 2 week vacation.
Alabama, here we come! :)

We arrived at our "uncle" Denny and "Aunt" Betty's house around 6:00.
After staying at their lovely home for two days, we left for thier camper on the lake.
A beautiful drive up into the mountains, and we were here.

Class of 2011: Hannah

Hannah graduated! She's done with highschool, now on to college.
She graduated with our local homeschool group, and she had her open house a few weeks later.
I was honored to be her photographer for both, using my Mom's Canon PowerShot SX130 IS for the ceremony, and for the open house a Canon EOS 50D. It is a job that definetly keeps you on your toes! :)
Congratulations Hannah!

Jessica did a fantastic job on Hannah's cake!

My adorable youngest sister. She got almost as much attention as the graduate :).

Friends and family.

Best friends playing in the gym.

James, my youngest brother. Isn't he one of the cutest things you've ever laid eyes on?
